KEY FEATURES

This one year course aims to provide a first qualification relevant to the needs of the Tourism industry. Areas covered include customer service, employability skills, selling skills and a knowledge of the industry itself.

COURSE CONTENT
A selection of core units includes:
Travel and Tourism: An Introduction; Business Practices in Travel and Tourism: Tourist Destinations.

A selection of optional units includes:
Learners have the opportunity to learn languages as part of the course.

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of three passes at Standard Grade (or equivalent) at band 3 or above, one of which should be English. Interest in foreign language learning is welcome but previous formal qualifications are not required as language tuition will be provided from a basic level.
