This course has been developed to meet the demand of those candidates who wish to further develop their computing skills at a higher level. This course is run on a Distance Learning format which comprises:

Email contact with tutor
Weekly drop in session (Saturday morning)
COURSE CONTENT Word Processing Produce advanced Word Processing outputs, illustrating sophisticated typographical, formatting and layout presentations, including tables, forms and graphs; make use of tools such as macros; make use of advanced mail merge operations.
Database Create databases; perform advanced queries; create amend relationships; change field properties; create forms and form controls; create reports; create action queries; create and run Macros.
Presentation Create add slides to various presentations; change colour schemes and background effects; use clipart and drawing tools; manipulate images; add animation; sound and video clips; create edit flowcharts; create and run macros; create links to objects outside the presentation; produce custom slide shows.
Spreadsheets Edit and enhance numeric, text and graphical data; sort, query and link data; make use of advanced formatting and presentation operations on charts and graphs; make use of logical, statistical and mathematical functions; use available analysis and audit tools; run and record simple macros.
