KEY FEATURES

The content of this course encompasses many relevant and up to date skills in demand for a variety of job types in ICT - including C#, VB.NET, Java Programming languages, Object Oriented Design, Object Oriented Programming, Project Management and a major software development project which will be graded.

COURSE CONTENT
A selection of core units includes:

Structured Programming (using C++); Systems Development Object Orientated Design; Object Oriented Programming (using Java) ; Relational Database Systems (using Oracle Academy course materials); Project Management; Professional Issues In Computing, Computer Architecture.

A selection of optional units includes:
Animation; Linked Data Structures; Mathematics; Developing on the World Wide Web, Developing Multi Media Applications, Software Development: Introduction (using VB.NET)

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS
Two relevant Higher Grade passes at grade C or above and three other passes at Standard Grade (or equivalent) at band 3 or above; or completion of 16 relevant National Qualification units including at least Communication 3 and be obtained within one session. For learners with alternative entrance qualifications school policy applies.
