CENTRAL COLLEGE Central College was founded in 1963. Over the last 4 decades it has grown rapidly and now offers a wide range of academic and vocational courses in the business area. In addition to the first two years of full time degree programmes, the College offers training courses and business services to companies in the private and public sectors - locally, nationally and internationally. It is the only specialist public sector business college in Scotland.
A medium sized college with over 500 staff, Central College has achieved the quality standard "Scottish Quality Management System" (SQMS) and numerous other training and quality awards. The College has agreed progression links with many Scottish Universities and with a number of others in the United Kingdom. Most of our full time learners progress to the local Universities of Glasgow, Strathclyde, Glasgow Caledonian and West of Scotland.
