This course is designed for those who wish to gain control of their stress levels. There will be a mix of theory and practical sessions which will equip individuals with the skill to help them enhance their own well being. Learners who successfully complete the course will be awarded a College Certificate.
COURSE CONTENT Includes various aspects of Stress including: physical and psychological effects; causes and symptoms; how to recognise stress and its effects on health and performance; assertiveness; time management; positive thinking. Practical Sessions include relaxation, visualisation and meditation.
ATTENDANCE One evening per week for 10 weeks
PROGRESSION Learners can apply to the Certificate in Managing Stress through Exercise and Therapy.

£500 accounts - If you are studying a part-time higher education course such as an Higher National Certificate (HNC), Higher National Diploma (HND) or a Degree course at ILA Scotland approved colleges or universities. You must be studying 50% or more of the time needed to complete a full-time course.
