SVQ Level 2 Instructing Fitness and Health - Gym Instructor - Practical

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS A reasonable degree of fitness and experience in using a gym. Candidates must have passed SVQ Level 2 Instructing Fitness and Health theory paper.
PROGRESSION Successful completion of Theory and Gym Modules and in possession of a current recognised First Aid Certificate, candidates may look to gain admission to the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) at level 2 in Gym Based Exercise. To achieve the full SVQ 2 award, within a year, the candidate must successfully complete and submit a workplace portfolio, gathering evidence of teaching experience with a variety of clients.
