Anatomy and Physiology, Principles of Training, Application of Training; Principles; Programming for the Components of Fitness; Nutrition; Lifestyle; Health and Safety and Screening Procedures.

FLEXIBLE LEARNING OPTION
Candidates who hold a relevant qualification at HNC/D (SCQF Level 7) or above may apply for the learner pack and study some of the course in their own time.

ASSESSMENT
1.5 hour National Theory paper.

REQUIREMENTS
Age 19 or over.

YOUR NEXT STEP
On successful completion candidates may progress to practical modules in Gym Instructor and/or Exercise to Music and look to gain admission to the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) at level 2.
